A short, honest summary of what we collect, why we collect it, and how to ask us to forget it.
1. Who we are
SmartPlayerMove ("we", "us", "our") is the studio behind Lumora: Shards of the Veil. This privacy policy covers the website smartplayermove.com and the Lumora mobile game on iOS and Android. The studio is a fifteen-person independent game developer working across Prague, Lisbon and Tbilisi.
2. The data we collect on the website
When you visit smartplayermove.com we collect only what we need to keep the site running and to honour your pre-register requests.
- Pre-register form: your name and email address, voluntarily submitted by you. Used only to send you the welcome chest and the launch-day install link.
- Server logs: IP address, user agent, referrer, requested URL. Kept for 30 days. Used to debug errors and to spot abuse.
- Anonymous analytics: aggregated page views, anonymised approximate region, anonymised device class. We do not use third-party trackers that profile you across other sites.
- Support chat: if you write to Lyra, the conversation text is stored for 90 days to improve our answers. Do not share sensitive personal data through the chat.
3. The data we collect inside the Lumora game
Lumora is rated 12+ and contains no real-money gambling. The game collects only the minimum required for it to run.
- Account: if you sign in with Apple, Google or a SmartPlayerMove account, we receive your platform user ID and, optionally, your display name. We do not receive your password.
- Save data: progress, settings, friend list, cosmetic choices. Stored on your device and, if you opt in, synced to our servers so you can switch devices.
- Diagnostics: anonymised crash reports and performance metrics. You can disable these in Settings → Privacy at any time.
- Purchases: if you buy a cosmetic pack, the transaction is processed by Apple or Google. We never see your payment card.
4. Why we collect it
To run the website and the game. To send you the things you actively asked us to send you. To improve the game by understanding which levels are too hard, which assets crash on which devices, and which features players actually use. To protect the service against abuse. We do not sell your data — to anyone, for any reason.
5. Who we share it with
A short list of trusted processors. We have signed data-processing agreements with each one.
- Hostinger — website hosting (EU).
- Postmark — transactional email delivery (US, EU storage region).
- Sentry — anonymised crash analytics (EU).
- Apple App Store / Google Play — sign-in and purchases.
- Lawyers and regulators, only where compelled by law and only after exhausting reasonable alternatives.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Write to [email protected] with the email address you signed up with. We answer within 14 days. You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country.
7. International transfers
Our servers are in the European Union. If we ever need to transfer your data outside the EU/EEA, we will do so only under Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
8. Children
The Lumora website is intended for adult visitors deciding whether to pre-register. The Lumora game is rated 12+. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Cookies
We use only a small set of strictly-necessary cookies (session, language preference, anti-CSRF). See our cookie policy for details.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change anything substantive in this policy we will email everyone on the pre-register list at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The current version is always the one published at this URL, with the "Last updated" date at the top.
