Cookie policy.

The only cookies we set on smartplayermove.com — and how to turn them off.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser so that it can remember things between visits — your language, that you have already dismissed a banner, that you are signed in. They are not a security threat by themselves, and most websites use them.

2. The cookies we use

SmartPlayerMove uses the absolute minimum. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not use cross-site trackers.

  • SPM_session — strictly necessary. A short, random session token used to keep your form submissions and chat messages tied together. Lifetime: until you close the tab.
  • SPM_lang — preference. Stores the language you picked, so the site shows it again on your next visit. Lifetime: 12 months. Set only after you actively change the language.
  • SPM_csrf — strictly necessary. Protects the pre-register form against cross-site request forgery. Lifetime: until you close the tab.
  • SPM_analytics — optional. A first-party, IP-anonymised page-view counter. Lifetime: 30 days. Set only if you click "Allow analytics" in the cookie banner.

3. What we do not use

We do not load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, retargeting cookies, advertising IDs, third-party social-network buttons, or any cross-site tracker. The full HTTP request log is the only thing our server sees.

4. How to turn them off

All modern browsers let you delete cookies, block them per-site, or block all third-party cookies in one click:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage website data.
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and site data.
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data.

Blocking the SPM_session and SPM_csrf cookies will break the pre-register form and the support chat. Everything else still works.

5. Mobile game

The Lumora mobile game does not use HTTP cookies — it uses your platform account (Apple, Google or SmartPlayerMove) for sign-in and a local save file for progress. See our privacy policy for the full list of game data.

6. Changes

If we add a new cookie we will list it on this page and re-prompt for consent where required.
